Traffic Tickets made easy:

Moving violations give you points against your license.  Moving violations can hurt your insurability and your insurance rates.

Most moving violations can be minimized by plea arrangements that can save you points and/or convictions on your driving record.  Most, but not all, jurisdictions will make such plea bargains by increasing the fine and lowering the point penalty.  Most "normal" speeding tickets can be reduced to a non-moving, defective vehicle charge.  That's good for your record and good for your insurance rates.

Speeding  is a 3 point (state courts) or 2 point (municipal courts) charge on your record.  There are various others depending on the charge that you can read for yourself----

Point accumulation:

The director shall suspend the license and driving privileges of any person whose driving record shows the driver has accumulated eight points in eighteen months.

The director shall revoke the license and driving privilege of any person when the person's driving record shows such person has accumulated twelve points in twelve months or eighteen points in twenty-four months or twenty-four points in thirty-six months.

To read the statute on suspension, revocation and reinstatement----

Accident cases, alcohol related ca'ses and leaving the scene of an accident are the more serious charges.  Don't just plead guilty.  Get a lawyer to make the best happen out of a bad situation.
